Come out and show your support for a great cause!
Lynnae Hottinger Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research (LHFFOCR) was formed in
honor of Lynnae Dara Hottinger, who succumbed to ovarian cancer at the age of 36 after a ten year battle with the disease.
Ovarian cancer is the deadliest of gynecologic cancers and most patients are diagnosed at advanced stages because the disease is associated with vague abdominal symptoms and no reliable early detection tests. The disease is also associated with high recurrence rates and chemotherapy resistance. Less than 50 percent of women survive longer than five years after diagnosis.
LHFFOCR’s purpose is to raise funds to be allocated towards organizations that support meaningful research towards the early detection, investigation, treatment and cure of ovarian cancer.
